Leeds-based CPP Group has expanded its global footprint after signing a partnership agreement with SparkassenVersicherung (SV), a German firm specialising in home insurance and pension products.
In a bid to tackle online identity theft, the deal will see SV utilise CPP Group’s dark web monitoring solution, OwlDetect, as part of the services it provides to its insurance customers.
CPP Group is a global provider of product and services specialising in the financial services and insurance sectors.
This deal is the latest in a series of international contracts the Group has agreed as part of its global expansion strategy, with other partners including the State Bank of India, China’s Bank of Communications and Denizbank in Turkey.
Jason Walsh, CEO at CPP Group, said: “With cyber hackers attacking computers every 39 seconds, coupled with the increased use of connected devices and information hosted online, we are all increasingly at risk of becoming victims of cyber-crime.
“We’re delighted to welcome them into our existing network of international partners and look forward to embarking on what we hope will be a long and mutually beneficial partnership.”
