Airedale International in Leeds has announced that it will supply cooling systems for new European data centre projects.
The company has secured a two year contract to supply complete cooling solutions for CyrusOne, a real estate investment trust, at a number of its data centres.
The sites include CyrusOne's 360,000 sq ft Dublin facility which comprises an IT load of 54 MW across three separate buildings. It will also supply cooling technology to the Amsterdam facility which covers 318,000 sq ft and has an IT load of 54 MW across two separate buildings.
Over the next 18 months, Airedale expects to announce further European projects with CyrusOne.
Tony Cole, managing director at Airedale, said: "We're proud to announce this significant contract award as not only does it cement Airedale's reputation for supplying precision air conditioning equipment into high-tech industries, but it also showcases British manufacturing at its best in a tough economic climate.
"We are investing in our production facilities as a result of these projects, and there is a real buzz around the place as we look forward to producing the units and delivering a fantastic solution for the client."
